Why Book Direct?
1. You will receive complimentary breakfast.
(Should you book through an online travel agent, breakfast is available and charged at £10.50 per person, payable on check-in).

2. You can book rooms in our Laurel House

3. An additional rate plan is available to you:
If you search for accommodation on a date more then 14 days in the future, a discounted (advance saver) rate option will also appear.
This rate includes complimentary breakfast but full pre-payment must be made at the time of booking.
This pre-payment is non refundable and non transferable.

4. You have the opportunity of selecting various stay enhancements such as Champagne on arrival.

5. You can book up to 18 months ahead. (Online travel agents limit is 12 months ahead).

6. We usually operate a threshold so that if our actual room inventory drops below (for example) 10%,
you will only be able to book rooms direct and not on via an Online travel agent.

The Laurel House
Named after a regular guest — the late, great Stan Laurel – The Laurel House is a separate Victorian town house. Its rooms offer all of our usual amenities and are equally suited to both the corporate and leisure traveler. When staying at our Laurel House, please check-in at the hotel reception. Physically impaired guests should be aware that the Laurel House does not feature a passenger lift. Also, there are several steps at the entrance. We always have staff on hand to assist with luggage.

Parking
We have a number of spaces available directly to the front of the hotel.  Free parking is also available on Grand Parade, directly opposite the front of the building, and on Hotspur street alongside the building.

The Brasserie

Breakfast:
Monday to Friday 6.30am – 9.45am
Saturday & Sunday 7.00am – 9.45am

Lunch/Dinner:
Monday to Thursday: noon – 9.00pm
Friday & Saturday: noon – 9.45pm
Sunday: noon – 3.00pm

Drawing Room

Open from 10.00am – 1.00am. Food served until 9.45pm

Copperfields Bar

Open from noon until late. Food served until 9.45pm

Long Stays
For anyone staying 7 nights or over, we can place a mini-fridge in your room. Should this be something that you require, please contact Hotel Reservations.

Cycle Storage
Complimentary covered secure cycle storage in available for up to 4 cycles in the grounds of the Hotel.
No need to book space. Just let us know in advance that you would like to use it.

Car & Motorbike Garages
The Stables Garages (50 metres behind the Hotel) Tynemouth, NE30 4EP. Approx. x 12 spaces.
The Mews Garages 1 to 7  (230 metres behind the Hotel) Tynemouth, NE30 4EL

Although The Mews Garages are a pleasant walk from the Hotel, we do not recommend that you walk with luggage. Instead, firstly drop off your luggage at Reception, then park your vehicle. Hotel Reception will require a £30 refundable deposit in exchange for a remote key fob which you use to open and close your allocated garage door. All garages feature electric vehicle charging points and some of these points are shared between two parking spaces, so EV charging is provided on a first come, first served basis. Garage check-in from midday. Garage check out before 11.30am.
