Meet The Team

Having worked in the trade all of his life, Gavin joined the hotel as the Executive Head Chef in 2021 and was quickly promoted to the GM within the first few months. He knows all there is to know about the hotel and will be able to answer any questions thrown his way. In his spare time (when he gets some) Gavin enjoys shopping until he drops and gaming at home with his 2 dogs.

Our Events and Front of House Manager has been a part of the Grand family since 2013. Often described as the “life of the party”, Helen is your go-to for any questions about weddings, functions or private parties. With her incomparable experience, she knows all the ins and outs of weddings, functions and private parties. Her favourite part of the role is seeing all the couples she has worked with, walk down the aisle. Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Having worked in the hotel since he was 16, starting as a waiter in the restaurant, he is a jack of all trades – there is nothing that Cameron doesn’t know. As an integral part of the team, Cameron is extremely diverse, and you will often find him helping to set up functions, serving food and supporting the operations side of weddings. Having worked countless weddings and events, Cameron knows how to make any event organiser feel at ease.
